Punjab Health Minister Kh Imran Nazir supervised the operation carried out by team comprising Chief Drug Controller Athar Jamal, Deputy Drug Controller Bilal Yasin and area drug inspectors.<\/p>\n<p>The team recommended registration of FIRs and closure of both the factories for manufacturing unregistered and substandard medicines.<\/p>\n<p>Talking to the newsmen, Kh Imran Nazir vowed to take all possible measures for freeing Punjab from unregistered, substandard and spurious drugs. He said that the department has apprehended a racket in Faisalabad which has its network in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology.
