About 500 have been sentenced to prison terms.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1765557\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Trump posted the comments on his Truth Social website on Monday, additionally promising to shut down the border with Mexico as part of his first acts if reelected, without providing details.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, Drill, Baby, Drill, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!\u201d he wrote late on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has made previous <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"link--external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.canberratimes.com.au\/story\/8450788\/trump-i-wont-be-a-dictator-if-i-am-us-president-again\/\">comments<\/a> about his hypothetical first day in office, vowing during a televised town hall in December not to act as a dictator except \u201cother than day one\u201d. Nor is it the first time Trump has called his imprisoned supporters \u201chostages\u201d or suggested they should be freed.<\/p>\n<p>In January, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1804066\">implored<\/a> President Biden to \u201crelease the J6 hostages, Joe\u201d during a campaign rally in Iowa.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full
