WASHINGTON, March 08, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, Administrator Isabel Casillas Guzman<\/b><\/a>, head of the\u00a0U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)<\/b><\/a> and the voice in President Biden\u2019s Cabinet for America\u2019s more than 33 million small businesses, issued the following statement on President Joe Biden\u2019s State of the Union address:<\/p>\n

\u201cPresident Biden\u2019s State of the Union address made clear that the Biden-Harris Administration\u2019s transformative agenda is fighting for the middle class, leveling the playing field for all Americans, and boosting our economy. The President\u2019s leadership on an unrivaled economic recovery and investments in America\u2019s entrepreneurs have delivered the three strongest years of new business applications on record. Today, the United States is in the midst of a historic Small Business Boom with a record 16.5 million new business applications filed since President Biden took office \u2013 more than the prior four years combined \u2013 and this surge is being powered by women, Latinos, and Black Americans.\u00a0<\/p>\n
