20-year-old British actor Millie Bobby Brown compared herself to Hollywood star Tom Cruise after her new film.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em> star Millie Bobby Brown said she felt like a \u2018female version\u2019 of Tom Cruise, 61, after doing the stunt work and action sequences herself, in her new Netflix film \u2018Damsel\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Sharing her experience on a recent chat show outing, Brown, who essays Princess Elodie in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo\u2019s dark fantasy film, said, \u201cI did all my own stunts from start to finish. I feel like the female version of\u00a0Tom Cruise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, the actor had clarified that she was \u2018really scared\u2019 of doing her own stunt as she was \u2018not physically trained\u2019 for it. \u201cYou\u2019re just like, \u2018Are we really gonna, like, am I really gonna do that stunt?\u2019 And then that day they\u2019re like, \u2018Yep, put the harness on,’\u201d Brown had recalled.<\/p>\n

An action-fantasy feature, co-starring Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson and Angela Bassett with Brown, \u2018Damsel\u2019<\/em> follows Princess Elodie, a dutiful, sheltered young noblewoman, who agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to discover that his family intends to sacrifice her to repay an ancient debt.<\/p>\n

The title premieres on the streaming giant Netflix on March 8.<\/p>\n
