QUETTA<\/strong> \u2013 In a significant session of the Balochistan Assembly, three members, including Sadiq Sanjrani, Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, were sworn in as members of the provincial assembly. The session, presided over by Ghazala Gola, the deputy speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, commenced with the administration of oaths to the newly elected members, including Sadiq Sanjrani, Mir Zafarullah Zehri of the Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI), and Mir Muhammad Khan Lehri of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) on Friday evening.<\/p>\n

This oath-taking ceremony, preceding the presidential election by a day, saw 65 lawmakers from the Balochistan Assembly preparing to cast their votes.<\/p>\n

Mir Sadiq Umrani Tabled Resolution<\/h2>\n

However, amidst the session, lawmakers from the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) took a poignant moment to pay tribute to their party founder, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. They ardently demanded that the house pass a resolution honoring Bhutto with national hero status.<\/p>\n

Mir Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, a senior PPP leader, brought forth the resolution, emphasizing Bhutto\u2019s sacrifices for the supremacy of the constitution and parliament. Mr. Umrani passionately stated, \u201cThis democracy is because of ZA Bhutto,\u201d urging the house to support the resolution.<\/p>\n

Echoing similar sentiments, Mir Zahoor Buledi, another PPP lawmaker from Mekran Kech, hailed Bhutto as a champion of democracy.<\/p>\n

Lawmakers Paid Rich Tribute To Z A Bhutto<\/h2>\n

Various members, including Ali Madad Jatak, also expressed their admiration for the PPP founder. After a thorough discussion, the resolution was unanimously passed by the House.<\/p>\n

However, the session was not devoid of tensions, with heated exchanges occurring between Maulavi Noorullah and lawmakers from the JUI-F.<\/p>\n
