In an exciting revelation, former One Direction member Zayn Malik took to Instagram today to announce the impending release of his highly anticipated fourth studio album. Premiering a narrative video on his account and sharing the pre-save link in his Instagram stories, the singer provided a glimpse into the upcoming musical journey.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think the intention behind this album fully is for the listener to get more insight on me personally as a human being,\u201d he shared in the teaser. \u201cMy ambitions, my fears\u2026and for them to have a connection with that. And that\u2019s why it\u2019s so raw, you know, it\u2019s just me writing this. I didn\u2019t want anybody else to be in between me and the music and the people listening to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zayn\u2019s last record, Nobody Is Listening<\/em>, dropped in 2021, following his 2018 release Icarus Falls<\/em>. Having departed from One Direction in 2016, he made a solo debut with the single PILLOWTALK<\/em>, and his first solo album, Mind of Mine<\/em>, was released the same year.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive report by Rolling Stone<\/a>, it has been confirmed that Zayn is co-producing his upcoming album with Grammy-winner Dave Cobb. The collaboration with Cobb, a renowned producer in Nashville, signifies Zayn\u2019s exploration of new sonic territories by blending his distinct vocals with live instrumentation.<\/p>\n

Cobb expressed his admiration for the singer\u2019s voice, stating, \u201cWhat got me about Zayn was his voice, you can hear love, loss, pain, triumph and humanity in it. I feel as if this record is removing the glass from his spirit directly to his fans.\u201d Describing the album as a creation of Zayn\u2019s own universe, Cobb commended the artist for speaking straight from his soul with no fear.<\/p>\n

The yet-to-be-titled album marks the Dusk Till Dawn<\/em> singer\u2019s first release under Mercury Records, adding to the anticipation surrounding the project. He had spent several years writing the album at his rural Pennsylvania home before enlisting Cobb as a co-producer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
