He equated reliance on such loans with entanglement in the chains of slavery.<\/p>\n<p>Questioning the legitimacy of the government, the JI leader cast doubt on its ability to protect the citizens\u2019 rights. He reiterated the JI\u2019s commitment to implementing the Shariah law, establishing an Islamic and prosperous Pakistan, and freeing the country from the IMF\u2019s dependence.<\/p>\n<p>Mehanti blamed the \u2018impractical conditions\u2019 of the IMF loans for Pakistan\u2019s current economic, political and ethical crises.
