LAHORE: The Sunni Ittehad Council(SIC) lost several seats in the National Assembly and Provincial Assemblies after the Election Commission of Pakistan(ECP) rejected its request for the allocation of reserved seats.<\/p>\n

The Election Commission of Pakistan has rejected the Sunni Ittehad Council\u2019s request for specific seats.<\/p>\n

After this decision, the Sunni Ittehad Council lost certain seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies. Now these seats will be given to other parties.<\/p>\n

After the ECP\u2019s decision, the Sunni Ittehad Council lost 23 reserved seats in the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

The Sunni Ittehad Council will not get 24 seats for women and 3 seats for minorities in the Punjab Assembly.<\/p>\n

In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, the Sunni Ittehad Council will not be able to get 21 reserved seats for women and 4 seats for minorities.<\/p>\n

Similarly, the Sunni Ittehad Council lost 2 reserved seats for women in the Sindh Assembly.<\/p>\n
