World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar and Hollywood actor John Cena revealed that his agency advised him not to work in the critically acclaimed film \u2018<\/span>Barbie<\/span><\/em>\u2018.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

John Cena made a cameo appearance as merman Ken named Kenmaid. The celebrity reportedly talked about his role in the \u2018<\/span>Howard Stern Show<\/span><\/em>\u2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The WWE superstar recalled that his agent was not supportive of him working in \u2018<\/span>Barbie<\/span><\/em>\u2018 as the project did not suit him.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI read the script of the movie and I tried my hardest to be in it,\u201d he said as quoted saying in the report. \u201cMargot [Robbie] was like, \u2018We\u2019ll make you a mermaid. You\u2019ll be in it for half a day.\u2019 \u2018Yeah, sure. But I think the perspective from an agency standpoint was, \u2018This is beneath you,\u2019 which I get that. But also to the agency\u2019s credit, immediately they acquiesced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
