ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar appeared in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in missing Baloch students\u2019 recovery case, ARY News reported on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani said that the state institutions are not above the law. \u201cThe state institutions know, how to run a country. The country could not be run with violation of the citizens\u2019 rights,\u201d the bench observed.<\/p>\n

Caretaker PM said, \u201cWe are facing armed mutiny in Balochistan\u201d. \u201cThe United Nations also have standard procedure, they question who has been disappeared,\u201d Kakar said. \u201cThey ask, you Mr. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani have disappeared\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you telling me, I am going to face enforced disappearance,\u201d Justice Kayani asked. \u201cI am only giving an example,\u201d Anwaar ul Haq Kakar said. \u201cI am taking Anwaar\u2019s name,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHolding entire state as accused of enforced disappearances is not correct,\u201d caretaker PM said. \u201cPeople were being killed on roadside but no one remember the human rights. You are shot dead, if your name is \u2018Chaudhry\u2019, \u2018Gujjar\u2019,\u201d Anwaar Kakar said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy they don\u2019t say anything, when non-state actors kill people,\u201d he said. \u201cThey give 5,000 names when ask about missing persons. They don\u2019t want to solve this issue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not a truth that suicide attackers get praise, they are in armed struggle to form a new state,\u201d Anwaar ul Haq Kakar said.<\/p>\n

The court remarked,\u201d Definitely it is a war, our military and other institutions are fighting. No court providing protection to any non-state actor.<\/p>\n

\u201cCredit goes to the government that the number of missing persons go down from 59 to 08\u201d the bench observed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
