KARACHI \u2013 Rain-wind\/thunderstorms with isolated hailstorms are expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and parts of Sindh from February 29 to March 01 (Thursday-Friday).<\/p>\n

As per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a strong westerly wave is likely to approach western parts of Pakistan on February 29. It may grip most parts of the country on March 01, and persist till March 02.<\/p>\n

Under the influence of this weather system, rain-wind\/thunderstorms are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Khairpur and Mirpurkhas from February 29 to March 01 (Thursday-Friday). Isolated hailstorms are also likely during the period. Wind-thunderstorm\/hailstorm may damage loose structures like electric poles and solar panels. Dry weather is expected on Tuesday evening\/night and Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Karachi\u2019s minimum temperature will likely remain between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n

Hyderabad\u2019s minimum temperature will likely remain between 12-14 C on Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. However, Jacobabad received 26 mm rain, Larkana, Mohenjo-Daro and Rohri 05 mm each, Khairpur 04 mm and Sukkur 03 mm.<\/p>\n

Dadu remained the coldest place in the province where temperature dropped to 09 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 76 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 17 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 49 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 69 per cent.<\/p>\n
