LAHORE: Punjab chief minister (CM) nominee Maryam Nawaz Sharif has applauded female ASP\u2019s bravery in saving woman\u2019s life from the violent mob in Lahore\u2019s Ichrra Market.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Maryam Nawaz took to social media platform X (Twitter) to laud ASP Shehrbano\u2019s decisive actions that averted a potential disaster.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you Shehrbano! We are all proud of you,\u201d she posted on X.<\/p>\n

The tribute comes in light of a recent incident in Lahore\u2019s Ichhra bazaar<\/a> where a mob of religious extremists harassed a woman for what it believed was an inappropriate dress.<\/p>\n

Maryam said the ASP remained resolute in her commitment to both the law and humanity in the face of immense pressure, an overwhelming number of people, and challenging circumstances.<\/p>\n
