{"id":62010,"date":"2024-02-19T16:19:04","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T16:19:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/pti-jui-p-agree-to-work-together-for-political-stability\/"},"modified":"2024-02-19T16:19:04","modified_gmt":"2024-02-19T16:19:04","slug":"pti-jui-p-agree-to-work-together-for-political-stability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/pti-jui-p-agree-to-work-together-for-political-stability\/","title":{"rendered":"PTI, JUI-P agree to \u2018work together\u2019 for political stability"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan (JUI-P), also known as Sherani group, agreed to \u2018work together\u2019 for country\u2019s development and political stability, ARY News reported on Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The agreement came after a PTI delegation \u2013 comprising Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Asad Qaiser, Omar Ayub Khan and others \u2013 met JUI-P leaders in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing a press conference, JUI-P leader Maulana Gul Naseeb said that he was indebted to PTI for taking his party into confidence in the current scenario and opting for an alliance for the way forward.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe title=\"\ud83d\udd34LIVE PTI and Sherani Group&#039; Press Conference | ARY News LIVE\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UvHU3hrGeLs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>He also urged all major stakeholders, including political parties, to join hands for political stability and take country out of crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Taking over the presser, PTI leader Gohar Khan said both the parties had affirmed to continue contacts. \u201cWe all agree that this country is ours, democracy should continue moving forward and we will take a step forward to improve the economy,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Barrister further said that both the parties agreed to continue the struggle against alleged rigging in the Feb 8 general elections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PTI urges judicial inquiry into Chatha\u2019s allegations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, PTI leader Asad Qaiser urged Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa to conduct a judicial investigation into former Rawalpindi commissioner Liaquat Ali Chatha\u2019s allegations regarding alleged rigging in Feb 8 polls.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLiaquat Chatha\u2019s allegations show how big the scale of rigging was,\u201d he said, calling the Feb polls \u2018most controversial\u2019 one.
