Former federal minister Faisal Vawda on Saturday took a dig at JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying the general elections results did not match the latter\u2019s \u201cwish list\u201d, and that his \u201cfile\u201d had become quite heavy and had gone as far as \u201cTurkiye\u201d.<\/p>\n

Talking to a private TV channel, the former federal minister said everyone saw Maulana\u2019s \u201cgame\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe (Fazl) did not get [poll] results according to his wish list. He will agree soon. His file has become quite heavy and has gone as far as Turkiye.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vawda said it was to be seen whether all the \u201cexpired leaders\u201d are on \u201cone container or locked inside it\u201d.<\/p>\n

Commenting on Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha over his \u201cconfession\u201d to being involved in \u201cpolls rigging\u201d, the former federal minister said the latter\u2019s revelation was only a \u201cdrama\u201d.<\/p>\n

The former minister opined there was a possibility that the PML-N had \u201claunched\u201d and \u201cgiven money\u201d to the Rawalpindi commissioner. \u201cHere, the entire game is of money. Everyone has self-interest here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vawda said the commissioner was about to retire in 10-12 days, questioning how could a \u201cnormal person\u201d admit after ten days of elections that the ballot was rigged.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it (confession) was after ten minutes, or even after ten hours, one could have admitted it. After ten days you are saying your conscience has awakened.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Chattha\u2019s remarks that he was willing to commit suicide over \u201chis involvement in polls rigging\u201d, Vawda said people in the country were willing to take their lives but no one \u201cactually commits it\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said a person who was retiring after ten days was himself questionable. \u201cFrom where did he (Rawalpindi commissioner) get so much property? Where did his property files come from? Who is he friends with?\u201d<\/p>\n
