LAHORE- Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique invited Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to form a coalition government.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo party has a majority in the current National Assembly, so PTI and PPP can form the government,\u201d said Khawaja Saad Rafiq in a statement.<\/p>\n

He stated that the responsibility of forming the federal government did not lie only with the PML-N but with all political parties.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PTI-backed Independents should take initiative and form a coalition government with the PPP,\u201d he said, adding that the PML-N would congratulate both PTI and the PPP if they formed the government.<\/p>\n

The PML-N took a backtrack from its previous stance of forming the government in the center.<\/p>\n

The sources within the PML-N said that in a meeting with Nawaz Sharif in the chair was suggested that they should not form a federal government.<\/p>\n

Nawaz Sharif, the sources said, was also suggested that the PML-N along with the independents can easily form a government in Punjab, so they should only focus Punjab.<\/p>\n

They said that Nawaz Sharif was of the view that the suggestion of any allied party should not be accepted for forming a federal government in the center.<\/p>\n

Some participants said that the only purpose of forming the federal government is that the country is in economic crisis, the state needed to be saved.<\/p>\n

Recently, the PML-N, PPP, MQM, and other ally parties in the center announced the formation of a government together.<\/p>\n

In the National Assembly, the independent are 92, PML-N has 79 seats, PPP 54, MQM-P 17, PML-Q 3, IPP 2, and BAP secured one seat.<\/p>\n

Nawaz Sharif had nominated Shahbaz Sharif as the candidate for Prime Minister office from the side of the PML-N.<\/p>\n
