{"id":60722,"date":"2024-02-16T08:00:05","date_gmt":"2024-02-16T08:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/pml-n-yet-to-make-up-mind-on-balochistan-cm-slot\/"},"modified":"2024-02-16T08:00:05","modified_gmt":"2024-02-16T08:00:05","slug":"pml-n-yet-to-make-up-mind-on-balochistan-cm-slot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/pml-n-yet-to-make-up-mind-on-balochistan-cm-slot\/","title":{"rendered":"PML-N yet to make up mind on Balochistan CM slot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>QUETTA: PML-N leaders in Balochistan have said that no decision has so far been taken about the upcoming chief minister\u2019s slot, which will be annou\u00adnced after consultation with the would-be coalition partners.<\/p>\n<p>Former chief minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani told a joint press conference on Thursday evening that the party\u2019s central leadership would take a decision about forming a government in Balochistan.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Alyani \u2014 accompanied by PML-N Balochistan President Jaffar Khan Mand\u00adokhail, General Secr\u00adetary Jamal Shah Kakar, and party leader Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran \u2014 also asked the leadership of protesting parties to approach election tribunals and courts to get their issues resolved instead of \u201ccausing difficulties to the people of Balochistan\u201d.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1814344\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>He ex\u00ad\u00adpress\u00aded satisfaction with the PML-N\u2019s performance in the Feb 8 elections, as the party have won 10 provincial and five national seats in the province. He acknowledged the leadership of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, stating that the party had achieved significant success under his guidance.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"blockquote-level-1\">\n<p>Party leaders ask protesting candidates not to \u2018waste time\u2019 in strikes<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He appreciated the Election Commission for conducting peaceful polls despite some complaints in certain areas.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Mandokhail also urged the protesting parties and candidates to avoid creating chaos in the country, emphasising that Balochistan, for the first time, was becoming a part of national politics in significant numbers.<\/p>\n<p>He encouraged all parties to contribute to the progress and development of the province by participating in parliamentary activities.<\/p>\n<p>As for the talks with independent MPAs, he said that their response was positive.<\/p>\n<p>The leaders of PML-N mentioned ongoing efforts to establish communication with other political parties to explore possibilities for government formation.<\/p>\n<p>The PML-N leaders stre\u00adssed the need for unity among political parties to serve the interests and development of Baloch\u00adistan and its people.
