Hollywood actor Michael Cera revealed that veteran star Ben Affleck was supposed to play a cameo role in the superhit 2023 flick \u2018<\/span>Barbie<\/span><\/em>\u2018 but backed out at the last minute.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Michael Cera, in an interview, said Ben Affleck was to shoot a fight scene between his character, Allan, and \u201cconstruction Kens\u201d near Barbie Land.<\/span><\/p>\n

The actor said the \u2018<\/span>Justice League<\/span><\/em>\u2018 star was supposed to do the action sequences instead of him but backed out as he was directing his own film.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t even supposed to fight in the movie,\u201d Michel Cera said as quoted in a Buzzfeed report. \u201cAm I allowed to say what it was supposed to be? It was supposed to be Ben Affleck. Right? Am I allowed to say that?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think Ben wanted to do it, but he was directing his movie. They\u2019re like, \u2018Okay, Ben\u2019s out; something has to happen here. So you\u2019re gonna fight them.\u2019 So I had to jump in with the stunt team.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Michael Cera added that filming the action scene took a toll on his health as he had just recovered from Covid-19. <\/span>He said he nearly died when warming up and had to be treated in his trailer.<\/span><\/p>\n
