ISLAMABAD \u2013 Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday summoned caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar in the case of missing Baloch students.<\/p>\n

Justice Mohsin Akthar Kayani passed the order while hearing the case of missing Baloch students.<\/p>\n

Justice Kayani observed that the punishment for enforced disappearances should be death penalty; those involved in enforced disappearances should be given the death penalty twice.<\/p>\n

During the hearing, Assistant Attorney General Usman Ghumman who was representing the federal government requested that the Attorney General was not available, and asked the court to adjourn the hearing.<\/p>\n

The law officer pleaded that they needed more time in this case to which Justice Kayani observed that \u00a0it is his kindness that he did not summon both Director Generals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Prime Minister should appear before the court on Monday at 10:00 am,\u201d remarked the judge, with directive to the caretaker prime minister to personally appear before the court.<\/p>\n

The court adjourned further hearing of the case till Feb 19.<\/p>\n
