The traffic police have prepared a traffic diversion plan to facilitate voters in travelling to the polling stations and parking their vehicles on the polling day on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the traffic police said on Tuesday that 487 wardens would perform duties on the election day in two shifts. They would be assisted by 208 traffic assistants, 12 senior traffic assistants and 88 senior traffic wardens. <\/span><\/p>\n

The election duty will be monitored by five DSPs. All the traffic staff will be served meals at their duty points.<\/span><\/p>\n

Chief Traffic Officer Maqsood Ahmad Loone has warned that negligence in duty on the occasion would not be tolerated.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has also chalked out a plan to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all polling stations on the election day.<\/span><\/p>\n

FESCO spokesman Tahir Sheikh said the company had set up a monitoring cell its headquarters where Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Amir would monitor all related issues.<\/span><\/p>\n
