The armed forces of Pakistan, Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee chairman and the services chiefs have paid rich tribute to the people of Kashmir for their resolve and valiant struggle, consistently braving grave human rights violations and inhumane lockdown in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir under New Delhi\u2019s occupation forces.<\/p>\n

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day, Kashmir remained a long pending unresolved issue on the UN agenda since 1948. \u201cThe issue has to be resolved as per the aspirations of the people of Kashmir and in accordance with UN resolutions providing for their right to self-determination.\u201d<\/p>\n

The military\u2019s media wing stated that the decades of atrocities by the Indian occupation forces had failed to diminish the spirit of the Kashmiri people and their legitimate freedom struggle.<\/p>\n
