ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more rains with snowfall over mountains for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Pakistan on Sunday evening\/night.<\/p>\n

According to the synoptic situation, a westerly wave is affecting most parts of Pakistan. It is likely to prevail during the next 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Under these conditions, rain-wind\/thunderstorms with snowfall over mountains are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Pothohar region, northeast Punjab and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday evening\/night.<\/p>\n

On Monday and Tuesday, mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind-thunderstorms with snowfall over mountains are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjacent areas.<\/p>\n

Islamabad\u2019s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 02-04 degrees Celsius on Monday and 01-03 C on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Rawalpindi\u2019s minimum temperatures will likely remain between 06-08 C on Monday and 03-05 C on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, cloudy weather prevailed over most parts of the country during the last 24 hours. Rain-thunderstorms with snow over mountains occurred in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, upper\/central Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.<\/p>\n

Kalam remained the coldest place in the country where mercury dropped 09 C below freezing.<\/p>\n

In Islamabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 07 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 93 per cent.<\/p>\n

In Rawalpindi, minimum temperature was recorded at 08 C. Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 75 per cent.<\/p>\n
