Netflix has disappointed the global fans of \u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em>, eagerly waiting for the final season 5 of the sci-fi horror series.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The streaming giant Netflix has unveiled the much-awaited series line-up of 2024 for the portal, excluding the hotly-anticipated concluding season of the supernatural teen series \u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

During the \u2018Next on Netflix\u2019<\/em> event in Los Angeles earlier this week, the streamer confirmed the return of several high-profile series this year. The list included \u2018Cobra Kai\u2019, \u2018Emily in Paris\u2019, \u2018Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story\u2019, \u2018Elite\u2019, \u2018Vikings: Valhalla\u2019, \u2018Squid Game\u2019 <\/em>and \u2018Bridgerton\u2019<\/em> among others.<\/p>\n

However, \u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em> season 5 remained absent from the list, hinting at an early 2025 release.<\/p>\n

Pertinent to note here that the \u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em> gang returned to Hawkins last month, to resume shooting for the final season, after several delays due to Hollywood strikes, including the Writers Guild and SAG AFTRA.<\/p>\n

Previously,\u00a0the very first scene of the upcoming season was teased by the writers in November last year on the annual celebration day of Netflix\u2019s hit series.<\/p>\n

\u201cDarkness. The sound of COLD WIND. GROANING TREES. And\u2026 A CHILD\u2019S VOICE. Singing a familiar song,\u201d read the text on the script, with the caption, \u201cSeason 5. Chapter 1. Scene 1m,\u201d without giving away much but the excitement to\u00a0\u2018Stranger Things\u2019<\/em>\u00a0legions.<\/p>\n
