KARACHI \u2013 The interim government in Sindh on Thursday announced five election holidays<\/a> <\/strong>in all schools, and higher educational institutions across province.<\/p>\n

All government and private schools, colleges, and universities in Sindh will remain closed from February 5 to February 9 for the upcoming general election that is set to be held on February 8, 2024.<\/p>\n

The Sindh Education Department<\/a> <\/strong>approved that all public and private sector schools, colleges, and universities in region will be closed till Feb 9 Friday, which will be closed for Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Sindh Education Department said a summary of the holidays<\/a> <\/strong>has been forwarded to Chief Minister House. It said official notification will be issued after final nod.<\/p>\n

Pakistan is set to hold its delayed general elections this time in light of instability on the country\u2019s political and economic fronts.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the interim government decided to keep schools across the province closed from February 6 to 9 in the backdrop of general elections slated for February 8.<\/p>\n
