ISLAMABAD \u2013 The interim federal government has announced nine-day election holidays<\/a> <\/strong>in all schools, colleges and higher educational institutions in Islamabad for general elections 2024.<\/p>\n

Following the announcement of Punjab and Sindh, the Ministry of Federal Education<\/a> and Professional Training<\/strong> said schools will remain closed from February 6 to 9<\/strong> for general elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn view of the upcoming general elections 2024 to be held in Pakistan on February 8, 2024, It has been decided to declare public holidays from February 6 to 9,\u201d a notification shared by capital administration said.<\/p>\n

Schools in Islamabad<\/a> <\/strong>and parts of the country will observe prolonged holidays as Feb 3-4 are weekend days, followed by Kashmir Day on February 5. From 6-9 Jan, Elections will be held in Pakistan and schools will remain close for another weekend.<\/p>\n

After nine-day closure, schools will reopen on February 12. During this period, all private and government schools will remain closed for educational activities.<\/p>\n
