If you thought the internet was done with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s latest stint – well, think again!<\/p>\n

The renowned Pakistani singer recently grabbed headlines and his employee’s collar in a viral video that spread like wildfire on social media. The aforementioned clip of mere seconds, showed Rahat behaving abhorrently towards one of his employees, thrashing him while inquiring where his ‘bottle’ is.<\/p>\n

In response to the escalating controversy, Rahat released a video attempting to address the incident. In the video message, the singer presented his employee, Naveed Hasnain, and Naveed’s father, Nafees Ahmed, attempting to portray their relationship as one based on mutual respect and affection.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe videos you\u2019re watching are a personal matter between a mentor and his pupil\u2026When a pupil does something well, we show them appreciation. In case of a mistake, we punish them as well,\u201d he stated in the video. Despite Rahat’s attempts to downplay the incident as a disciplinary matter between a ‘mentor and his pupil,’ public sentiment remains deeply critical.<\/p>\n
