LAHORE \u2013 Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA, Center of Education and Consciousness) has appointed Kazim Saeed as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n

ITA is a leading civil society organization addressing the education crises in Pakistan through policy research, service delivery and advocacy.<\/p>\n

Among ITA\u2019s flagship initiatives, the ASER survey stands out as Pakistan\u2019s largest citizen-led survey, focusing on educational attainment among school-age children.<\/p>\n

ITA has undertaken programs related to education in emergencies, the Siyani Sahelian 2nd Chance Learning Program for Adolescent Girls, and Digital Safety.<\/p>\n

ITA\u2019s Pakistan Learning Festival (PLF) has witnessed 91 editions across Pakistan, with 100,000 students participating in the most recent PLF held in Islamabad in November 2023.<\/p>\n

To date, ITA has positively impacted over 17 million beneficiaries across Pakistan and beyond its borders.<\/p>\n

ITA founder and CEO Baela Jamil said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Kazim as ITA\u2019s Chairman given his extensive work in multiple sectors of the economy with leading public and private institutions, as well as his commitment to evidence-based policymaking and public service.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kazim Saeed is a policy and strategy professional focusing on economic development.<\/p>\n

For twenty-five years, he has provided energy policy advice to governments with the World Bank.<\/p>\n

Over the past decade, he has built new business models for growth in agriculture with Pakistan\u2019s largest business groups, the ADB, USAID, FAO, etc., through the Pakistan Agricultural Coalition, a non-profit he co-founded.<\/p>\n

Kazim serves on the boards of pioneering companies: Naymat Collateral, Khushhaal Kissan, and Indus Acres.<\/p>\n

Kazim Saeed\u2019s award-winning book Dou Pakistan: Har Pakistani Gharanay Tak Khushhaali presents a comprehensive strategy for delivering prosperity to every Pakistani household by 2047\u2013the 100th anniversary of Pakistan\u2019s creation.<\/p>\n

Kazim holds dual bachelor\u2019s degrees in Electrical Engineering and the History and Philosophy of Science from Cornell University (USA) and a Master\u2019s degree in Public Affairs from Princeton University (USA).<\/p>\n

Kazim Saeed said \u201cI consider this a truly great honour. ITA is a shining example of how much a single Pakistani institution can achieve at the national and international levels.
