In a recent operation conducted by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration and Commercial Banking Circle at Quetta International Airport, a significant breakthrough was achieved in the ongoing crackdown against criminal gangs engaged in currency smuggling.<\/p>\n

During the operation, FIA officials intercepted an attempt to smuggle a substantial amount of foreign currency, marking a major victory in the agency\u2019s efforts to combat financial crimes. According to a spokesperson for FIA Quetta, the accused individual, identified as Abdullah Gul, had concealed foreign currency within his shoes and luggage in an elaborate smuggling attempt. Gul was apprehended while en route to Sharjah, thwarting his illicit intentions.<\/p>\n

The meticulous operation led to the recovery of more than 1 million domestic and foreign currencies, including 21,510 Australian dollars, 10,000 Saudi riyals, 4,000 euros, 8,450 Swiss francs, 855 British pounds, 1,275 UAE dirhams, New Zealand dollars, and various other denominations.<\/p>\n
