The spokesman of CTD said a significant breakthrough has been achieved as Abdul Hadi alias Amrullah, a key member of the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has been apprehended. The arrested individual, who hails from the Zabul region of Afghanistan, was reportedly orchestrating the activities of the banned outfit within Quetta.<\/p>\n<h2>Accused Operated Alongside 6 Associates<\/h2>\n<p>According to the CTD spokesperson, Abdul Hadi operated alongside six associates in Quetta, all of whom are Afghan citizens. The accused is believed to be connected to a recent attack on a police van that occurred last month. This incident, transpiring on December 26, 2023, targeted a police mobile on patrol in the Nawan Kalan area of Quetta, specifically near Pashtunistan Chowk.<\/p>\n<h2>Accused Involved In Hand Grenade Attacks At Police<\/h2>\n<p>The attack involved the use of a hand grenade, resulting in injuries to a police assistant sub-inspector (ASI) and three innocent bystanders. The injured individuals were promptly attended to and are currently receiving medical care.
