KARACHI \u2013 Senior Pakistani writer, and advocate Nafees Siddiqui passed away on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Besides being a legal expert, Siddiqui was also a revered columnist, who received accolades for his achievements during his decades long career.<\/p>\n

His family confirmed the death of the veteran politician. The funeral prayers of the Sindh-based personality will be offered on Sunday in Masjid Noorul Islam Zamzama in the port city. He was unwell for quite some time and was suffering from renal ailments.<\/p>\n

Siddiqui served as an advisor in the Sindh cabinet during the tenure of slain Pakistani PM Benazir Bhutto.<\/p>\n

The death of Mr Siddiqui has shocked many and government representatives, politicians, activists and lawyers mourned his demise.<\/p>\n

Social worker Ramzan Chhipa also condoled the death of Siddiqui. In a post, he prayed for the late politician for his rank in Jannah and extended support to the family over loss.<\/p>\n
