A suspect brutally murdered his friend by slashing his throat with a knife during a Milaad celebration, following a minor disagreement.<\/span><\/p>\n

The victim, 20-year-old Salman Watto, succumbed to the attack in excruciating pain.<\/span><\/p>\n

The locals apprehended the accused and his accomplices as they tried to escape, promptly handing them over to the police, who have now filed charges against the suspects.<\/span><\/p>\n

The gruesome event unfolded in Mohalla Pir Karyan, within the jurisdiction of the City police station. The accused, Shehbaz, invited Salman Watto to his home ostensibly for a Milaad celebration but ended up fatally attacking him over a minor altercation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Watto lost his life on the spot. Witnesses from the area intercepted Shehbaz and his associates as they attempted to flee, ensuring their detention until the arrival of the police.<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon receiving the report, DPO Pakpattan Tariq Wilayat promptly reached the scene. The DPO assured the victim’s family of a thorough investigation and extended condolences to them. Following a post-mortem examination, the police released the body to the family and took Shehbaz into custody.<\/span><\/p>\n
