\"\"With political temperature rising due to ongoing election campaigns, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari Tuesday took a fresh jibe at Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, saying the latter would harm the country via his \u201chabitual revenge politics\u201d if he comes to power once again.<\/p>\n

\u201cMian sahib is habitual of [taking] revenge. He would take revenge which no one can think of if he becomes the [country\u2019s] prime minister for the fourth time,\u201d Bilawal said while addressing a political gathering in Chiniot, Punjab.<\/p>\n

His remarks come as political parties, including former allies such as PML-N and PPP, have been engaged in a verbal showdown in their bid to disseminate their respective narratives ahead of the February 8 polls.<\/p>\n

Continuing his tirade against the PML-N supremo, the PPP chairman warned that the former\u2019s revenge-centric approach would adversely affect the masses, the country and its economy.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know them [PML-N], they have hatred, malice and revenge in their hearts [\u2026] Mian Sahib\u2019s first and second term was no less than a dictatorship.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir politics is based on violence,\u201d he added while warning the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers \u2013 who according to him are thinking that their difficult days are behind them \u2013 of disastrous consequences if Nawaz secures a fourth term as the country\u2019s premier.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe issue is that they [the Sharifs] only think about themselves. He [Nawaz] is [only] worried about how to sit on the prime minister\u2019s chair,\u201d the former foreign minister said while asking the masses to question the PML-N leadership about what they were doing in their past three tenures.<\/p>\n

Continuing with his \u201cnew politics\u201d agenda, Bilawal once again lamented the divisive and hateful politics \u2013 adopted by \u201cold politicians\u201d \u2013 while promising to abstain from such a trend if he is voted into power.<\/p>\n

\u201cInstead of [focusing on] personal revenge, [we] think of ways to solve issues faced by the people,\u201d the PPP leader said.<\/p>\n

Elaborating on his party\u2019s election manifesto, Bilawal said that the PPP would increase the salaries by twofold.<\/p>\n

\u201c[We] will provide facilities for youth to get employment [\u2026] and will build 3 million houses in Pakistan and give ownership rights to women,\u201d he said, adding that his government would also regularise slums.<\/p>\n
