There are different types of IELTS tests conducted by British Council in 17 locations across Pakistan \u2013 Islamabad, Abbottabad, Gujrat, Peshawar, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Lahore, Multan, Bahawalpur, Mirpur, Faisalabad, Sargodha,\u00a0 Jhelum, Sukkur, Sahiwal, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin and Sialkot.<\/p>\n

IELTS Academic Test<\/strong><\/p>\n

You should take IELTS Academic if you want to study at either undergraduate or postgraduate level anywhere in the world, or if you want to work in a professional organisation in an English speaking country.<\/p>\n

IELTS General Training Test<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can take IELTS General Training to study at below degree level, work in an English speaking country or your own country and emigrate to an English speaking country.<\/p>\n

IELTS for UK<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is a specific IELTS test for UK visas and immigration if you are planning to move to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

Ways to Take IELTS Test<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two ways to take the IELTS test \u2013 on paper or on computer.<\/p>\n

There is a difference in fee for IELTS Academic Test on paper and on computer. As of January 2024, the British council receives Rs62,200 for IELTS on paper and Rs55,900 for IELTS Academic Test on computer.<\/p>\n
