{"id":5079,"date":"2023-09-17T20:32:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-17T20:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/alliance-with-pti-neither-exists-nor-under-consideration-says-ppps-nasir-shah\/"},"modified":"2023-09-17T20:32:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-17T20:32:07","slug":"alliance-with-pti-neither-exists-nor-under-consideration-says-ppps-nasir-shah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/alliance-with-pti-neither-exists-nor-under-consideration-says-ppps-nasir-shah\/","title":{"rendered":"Alliance with PTI neither exists nor under consideration, says PPP\u2019s Nasir Shah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p>PPP leader Nasir Hussain Shah on Sunday closed the door on the possibility of any alliance between his party and the PTI ahead of general elections.<\/p>\n<p>Questioned on the veracity of a speculated PTI-PPP alliance on <em>Dawn News<\/em> show <em>Doosra Rukh<\/em>, Shah said: \u201cThe PPP has no alliance with the PTI nor is it under any consideration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can\u2019t have an alliance with anyone who conducts politics against the country\u2019s unity [and] who attacked our institutions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The PPP leader was referring to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1752254\/eight-killed-in-clashes-as-imran-lands-in-nab-custody\">violent protests<\/a> on May 9 that broke out nationwide after the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and saw rioting and vandalism at various spots, including the Lahore Corps Commander House and General Headquarters (GHQ), the army\u2019s head office in Rawalpindi.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  w-full  w-full  media--stretch  media--embed  \">\n<p><div class=\"ast-oembed-container \" style=\"height: 100%;\"><iframe title=\"PML-N Leader&#039;s Big Apology! But Why? | Nadir Guramani | Doosra Rukh | Dawn News\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wx0oiASOY90?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Shah said the party\u2019s doors were open for all other political entities and it would talk with everyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPolitically, we are in contact with everyone, are contacting them and will contact them [\u2026] There are many individuals who want to join the PPP but there are issues of space,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>When PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1776102\">questioned<\/a> about political dialogue with the PTI on Friday, he had said that before May 9, the PPP was trying to have a dialogue with every political force for elections but the PTI had decided to attack the Lahore corps commander house, GHQ and other army installations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can have a dialogue with those not involved in the attacks of May 9.
