LAHORE \u2013 The Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department Punjab has \u2018Excise at your doorstep\u2019 service in provincial capital Lahore to provide facility of vehicle registration and transfer to the citizens at their homes.<\/p>\n

Chief Secretary Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman inaugurated the \u2018Dahleez App\u2019 at a ceremony held at DG Excise Office a day earlier.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Zaman said the launch of \u2018Dahleez App\u2019 and \u2018E-Registration Card\u2019 by the Excise Department was an important step towards digitization.<\/p>\n

DG Excise Muhammad Ali said that in the first phase, \u201cExcise at your doorstep\u201d service has been launched in Lahore, adding that it would be extended to entire province.<\/p>\n

He explained that the excise department officials would reach the homes of the citizens to provide them vehicle registration and transfer services.<\/p>\n

He said that the fee would be paid through online banking, adding that registration number will be provided to the citizens on the spot.<\/p>\n

Citizens are required to make a call on the Punjab Information Technology Board\u2019s helpline 080008786 to book an appointment for the registration and transfer of their vehicles.<\/p>\n

After the appointment, an official of the Excise Department will visit you at the given address<\/p>\n

The fee for new registration or transfer of vehicle would be paid through online channels<\/p>\n

The department official will provide the payment slip ID (PSID) at your doorstep.<\/p>\n

The vehicle owner will be allotted the registration number on the spot<\/p>\n

The documents will be dispatched back to the applicant through Pakistan Post after being scanned at the excise office.<\/p>\n
