All educational institutions in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa(KP)<\/a> will remain closed in next month from 7th to 9th February, due to the upcoming general elections.<\/p>\n

While the official decision has been concluded, the formal announcement is expected in the initial week of February.<\/p>\n

Due to the upcoming elections on February 8, where schools and colleges assist as central polling stations, educational institutions will be shut down during that time.<\/p>\n

Sources told a local media out that teachers will play an important role as polling staff during the elections. This has led to the decision to close educational institutions for three days.<\/p>\n

The final decision regarding the closure of all schools and colleges will be announced two or three days before the general elections.<\/p>\n
