HBO\u2019s media dynasty drama \u2018Succession\u2019<\/em> and Hulu\u2019s restaurant dramedy \u2018The Bear\u2019<\/em> tied at Primetime Emmy Awards as big winners, with six wins each.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018Succession\u2019, \u2018The Bear\u2019<\/em> and \u2018Beef\u2019<\/em> emerged triumphant at the strike-delayed 75th edition of the Emmy Awards on Monday at the Peacock Theatre of Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n

The four-season HBO series, which was nominated for a whopping 27 nominations including Outstanding Drama Series, marked the hat-trick in the category with the recent win, overtaking hits like \u2018The Crown\u2019, \u2018House of the Dragon\u2019<\/em> and \u2018The Last of Us\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, actors Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen bagged acting honours for their roles in the series, whereas, their co-star J. Smith-Cameron lost in her category of Best Supporting Actor Female to Jennifer Coolidge of \u2018The White Lotus\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Jeremy Allen White-led \u2018The Bear\u2019<\/em> swept the comedy category, taking home the trophies for Best Series, Best Actor for the former as well as Best Supporting Actors for Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, American actor Quinta Brunson bagged Best Actor Comedy for \u2018Abbott Elementary\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Korean director Lee Sung Jin\u2019s miniseries for Netflix, \u2018Beef\u2019<\/em>, was named Best Limited\/Anthology Series, while its actors Steven Yeun and Ali Wong won acting honours in the category.<\/p>\n

\u2018The Bear\u2019, \u2018Succession\u2019<\/em> and \u2018Beef\u2019<\/em> directors and writing teams also won the trophies in the respective categories.<\/p>\n

Hulu\u2019s \u2018The 1619 Project\u2019<\/em> was the best documentary series of the year.<\/p>\n

Late \u2018Friends\u2019<\/em> star Matthew Perry aka Chandler Bing\u00a0was remembered at the ceremony\u2019s In Memoriam segment, where Charlie Puth and musician duo Michael Trotter Jr & Tanya Trotter performed \u2018<\/em>See You Again\u2019<\/i>, followed by a cover of the sitcom\u2019s theme song \u2018<\/em>I\u2019ll Be There For You\u2019<\/i> as the actor\u2019s picture rolled in the slideshow.<\/p>\n
