JI urges ECP to review intra-party elections of PPP, PML-N<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami(JI) has written a letter to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in which it has demanded a review of the intra-party election of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People\u2019s Party(PPP).<\/p>\n

Jamaat-e-Islami has written a letter to the ECP for the review of the intra-party elections of other parties, in which it has demanded the review of the intra-party elections of the Muslim League-N and the People\u2019s Party.<\/p>\n

This letter has been written by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Ameer Hafiz Muhammad Naeem, in which it is demanded that the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the election symbol should be implemented on all parties.<\/p>\n

Hafiz Naeem has said that millions of voters have lost the right to vote for the party of their choice due to the decision of the Supreme Court, whereas Jamaat-e-Islami wants a level playing field for every political force and that there are several aspects to the issue for the party.<\/p>\n

Jamaat-e-Islami said that intra-party elections in PML-N and PPP have not been held according to its spirit. Family and hereditary leadership are imposed in both parties, so the intra-party election of PPP and PML-N should also be examined in detail.<\/p>\n
