The OG national crush of India, <\/strong>Bollywood A-lister Shraddha Kapoor revealed her childhood crush, who turned down her proposal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As revealed by Bollywood starlet Shraddha Kapoor, she had a huge crush on her \u2018Street Dancers\u2019<\/em> co-star Varun Dhawan, and even proposed her love to him, but got a \u2018no\u2019 in return.<\/p>\n

During one of the promotional outings of their film, Kapoor revealed, \u201cI was only eight, and I had a crush on Varun. So, I thought I should just tell him.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cI decided to say \u2018I love you\u2019 backwards. So, I told Varun that I am saying a sentence backwards, and he must listen carefully. Then I said \u2018You \u2013 love -I\u2019. I think it was too complicated for a little boy to understand\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBecause he gave me a stern \u2018No\u2019, and just ran away from there. It\u2019s been a joke between us ever since,\u201d added the \u2018Stree\u2019<\/em> actor.<\/p>\n

In response, Dhawan had also confessed, \u201cThis is long time ago, but I had a huge crush on Shraddha.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked why he didn\u2019t confess his love like Kapoor, he replied, \u201cI think at that age, boys don\u2019t like girls. Bohot chhote the hum, samajh mein nahi aaya mujhe<\/em> (We were too young, I didn\u2019t understand it).\u201d<\/p>\n

To which, Kapoor added, \u201cI only liked Varun, and could not see beyond him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pertinent to note here that Kapoor and Dhawan collaborated on screen for the first time in Remo D\u2019Souza\u2019s dance film \u2018Any Body Can Dance 2\u2019<\/em> (2015). The duo reunited for the third film of the franchise, titled \u2018Street Dancers 3D\u2019 <\/em>(2020).<\/p>\n

On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor is currently filming for the sequel to her 2018 horror-comedy \u2018Stree\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n
