Bollywood actress and environmentalist Dia Mirza revealed what she dislikes about acting and her insecurities.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The India actress opened up about her career in an interview with India entertainment website Filmfare. The Bollywood said she dislikes fake news that circulates on different platforms.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The \u2018<\/span>Shootout at Lokhandwala<\/span><\/em>\u2018 and \u2018<\/span>Lage Raho Munna Bhai<\/span><\/em>\u2018 star replied positively when the actress was asked if she felt insecure being a celebrity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOh yes,\u201d she was quoted saying in the India news agency Hindustan Times\u2019 report. \u201cAbsolutely! Especially when I was younger. The fear of losing out, the fear of rejection, the fear of ageism, and the loss of opportunity in an ageist industry.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Dia Mirza added that she entered the film industry without any training or preparation. The actress said she learned the craft by herself which has its own merits.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI do recognise the invaluable contribution a good, solid education in acting makes to helping an individual define their creative voice and choices,\u201d the actress said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dia Mirza further added, \u201cMost of my choices in the first eight to ten years of my career were made out of fear. I was ill-equipped to find my voice or the authenticity that now defines all my choices.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

She made her Bollywood debut in the cult classic \u2018Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein<\/em>.\u2019 She also worked in \u2018Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge<\/em>,\u2019 \u2018Parineeta<\/em>,\u2019 \u2018Lage Raho Munna Bhai<\/em>,\u2019 \u2018Shootout at Lokhandwala<\/em>,\u2019 \u2018Sanju<\/em>,\u2019 \u2018Thappad<\/em>\u2018 and \u2018Bheed<\/em>.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Her latest on-screen outing was in the second season of the superhit Netflix web show \u2018Made in Heaven<\/em>\u2018.
