Sources close to Butt&#8217;s family said that the actor&#8217;s funeral prayer would be offered after Asr prayer on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The renowned star, who began his career in the 1970s and appeared in a large number of Urdu and Punjabi films and television series, was last seen in Faysal Quraishi and Durefishan Saleem&#8217;s drama serial, <em>Khaie<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Butt kick-started his career as an assistant director and later went on to direct a film as well. He has also worked on several popular television dramas, and films, as well as various theatre plays.
