QUETTA:<\/strong>\u00a0In a surprising turn of events, the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) is set to re-enter the political arena, reclaiming its iconic \u2018Cow\u2019 symbol. The Election Commission, responding to BAP\u2019s request, has approved the restoration of the \u2018Cow\u2019 symbol for the party, overturning its earlier allotment of the \u2018Eye\u2019 symbol.<\/p>\n

Initially, on January 9, the Election Commission released a list assigning the \u2018Eye\u2019 symbol to BAP. However, following subsequent deliberations, the commission reversed its decision, now designating the \u2018Cow\u2019 symbol to the party instead.<\/p>\n
