LAHORE \u2013 Students in Punjab and other regions returned to schools as the government reopened educational institutions with changed timing even though the winter spell intensified.<\/p>\n

As school-going students are defying the odds by going to educational institutions in chilly weather, the government made some changes for the students.<\/p>\n

Amid the ongoing classes, school education officials directed private and government schools to relax their uniform policy.<\/p>\n

The interim government also allowed pupils to come to schools in casual sweaters, blazer, coat, jacket, cap, socks, and shoes, during months of January and February to protect them from harsh weather.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the government directed all relevant officials to ensure compliance with order.<\/p>\n

In a little for young learners, Punjab government announced one-week holidays for Nursery, KG anc Class 1 students while Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered to postpone all examinations scheduled for this month.<\/p>\n

In a bid to prevent children from contracting pneumonia, schools across region directed not to hold morning assemblies until January 31.<\/p>\n
