AJ, born Alexander James McLean, mentioned that Rochelle wasn\u2019t aware of his celebrity status, and they started dating in the next year. Skipping to January 2010, he proposed after a solo show in Las Vegas, and they got married in December 2011.<\/p>\n<p>AJ and Rochelle met for the first time in 2008 when she worked as a waitress in a Los Angeles restaurant. However, they didn\u2019t start dating right away and went on their first date a year later.<\/p>\n<p>AJ and Rochelle got married on December 17, 2011, in a gothic-themed ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. They said their vows under a gazebo adorned with white hydrangeas, surrounded by family and friends. The singer proposed the year before, on his 32nd birthday, after a solo concert in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>The couple has two daughters: Elliott, who was born in 2012, and Lyric, born in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Initially named Ava at birth, Elliott changed her name in 2021.
