ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Supreme Court of Pakistan concluded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) plea challenging the Peshawar High Court\u2019s interim order that revoked the party\u2019s election symbol, the bat.<\/p>\n

PTI withdrew its petition during the proceedings, citing a similar case ongoing in the PHC regarding the restoration of the \u2018bat\u2019 symbol.<\/p>\n

The three-member bench, led by Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, heard the case. PTI\u2019s counsel, Hamid Khan, highlighted that a parallel petition was under consideration in the Peshawar High Court.<\/p>\n

Simultaneously, a two-member PHC bench heard PTI\u2019s plea to instruct the Election Commission to allocate the \u2018bat\u2019 symbol. Barrister Gohar Ali Khan anticipated a verdict from PHC by 11 a.m.<\/p>\n

The PHC had earlier reinstated the ECP\u2019s decision, stripping PTI of the bat symbol, prompting PTI to approach the Supreme Court. Barrister Gohar Ali Khan expressed confidence in the bat symbol\u2019s restoration, pledging the party\u2019s adherence to the court\u2019s judgment.<\/p>\n
