However, the tribunal, in a decision issued on January 7, upheld the rejection of Imran Khan\u2019s appeal.<\/p>\n<p>In a subsequent development today, the Election Tribunal dismissed Imran Khan\u2019s appeal against the rejection of nomination papers from NA-89 Mianwali.<\/p>\n<p>This decision followed a previous ruling by the Election Tribunal, which had already declared Imran Khan ineligible to contest elections from NA-122 Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>Imran Khan had initially submitted nomination papers for three National Assembly constituencies, namely NA-122 Lahore, NA-89 Mianwali, and Islamabad.
