In commemoration of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month in January, health experts emphasised the importance of early diagnosis and annual screening. <\/span><\/p>\n

They especially encouraged parents to vaccinate their daughters against cervical cancer if they are between the ages of 15 to 26 years since early treatment increases rate of curability to more than 92%. <\/span><\/p>\n

An expert on women\u2019s diseases, Dr Irum Yasir said that Cervical Cancer Awareness Month is an important opportunity to share evidence-based information, screening and promote vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV).<\/span><\/p>\n
