{"id":45275,"date":"2024-01-08T09:36:20","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T09:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/grant-bradburn-says-goodbye-to-pakistan-cricket-team\/"},"modified":"2024-01-08T09:36:20","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T09:36:20","slug":"grant-bradburn-says-goodbye-to-pakistan-cricket-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/grant-bradburn-says-goodbye-to-pakistan-cricket-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Grant Bradburn says goodbye to Pakistan cricket team"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure class=\"featuredimg\">\n <\/p>\n<p class=\"captionimg\">Grant Bradburn says goodbye to Pakistan cricket team<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Grant Bradburn resigned from Pakistan cricket.<\/li>\n<li>Bradburn served the national team during the 2023 World Cup.<\/li>\n<li>He shared the news on his social media channel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grant Bradburn announced his resignation as high-performance coach for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday, expressing his gratitude for his time spent working with the coaches and Green Shirts.<\/p>\n<p>In May of last year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolnews.com\/sports\/2023\/08\/mickey-arthur-grant-bradburn-to-continue-duties-until-world-cup-2023\/\">Bradburn<\/a> was first named head coach of the national men\u2019s team for the next two years by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).<\/p>\n<p>However, the cricket organization altered the coaching staff\u2019s portfolios in November 2023, including that of head coach Bradburn.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll coaches will continue to work in National Cricket Academy while PCB will announce the new coaching staff in due course for the upcoming series in Australia and New Zealand,\u201d PCB had stated.<\/p>\n<p>The 57-year-old had served as the Pakistani team\u2019s coach in the 2023 World Cup.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bolnews.com\/sports\/2023\/10\/this-is-what-grant-bradburn-said-about-pakistan-team\/\">Bradburn<\/a> gave an update regarding his exit on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTime to close the amazing chapter that has been Pakistan cricket.
