To hold discussion with the Afghan Taliban leaders on the regional security situation, the JUI-F emir Maulana Fazlur Rehman<\/a> arrived in Kabul on Sunday. The information about his arrival in Kabul has been shared by the spokesman for his party.<\/p>\n

Upon his arrival in Kabul, traffic was stopped on the road leading from the international airport in Kabul to the venue of his stay.<\/p>\n

Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who is leading nine-member delegation which included the party leaders from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, will be holding series of meetings during their visit to Kabul<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The details about his arrival in Kabul has also been shared by the Official Twitter account of the Spokesman of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Zabihullah Mujahid.<\/p>\n

Noting to which, Mujahid said that, \u201cIt has been decided that Maulana Sahib Fazlur Rahman, the leader of Pakistan\u2019s Jamiat Ulema Islam Party, will come to Kabul today with a delegation. Maulana Fazlur Rehman, leader of Hizb Jamiat Ulema Islam Pakistan, will come to Kabul at the head of a delegation.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is to be added that, Pakistan\u2019s Charge d\u2019affaires Obaidur Rehman Nizamani is also expected to take part in the meetings.<\/p>\n

JUI-F spokesman, Aslam Ghouri said the party leader was visiting Kabul on the invitation of the Afghan Taliban leadership to hold talks on the regional and security issues.<\/p>\n

At the same time, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he would raise Pakistan\u2019s security concerns with the Afghan Taliban and listen to their grievances as well.<\/p>\n

JUI-F emir Maulana Rehman said he was confident to break the ice between the two sides and resolve issues.<\/p>\n

Ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan have soured in the past months because of an uptick in the terrorist attacks which Islamabad says are carried out by the outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operating from inside the neighboring nation.<\/p>\n

It is to be hereby added that, the bilateral relations between the neighboring nation took further hit when Pakistan started deporting illegal Afghans. Around half a million undocumented Afghans have so far left Pakistan since November 1, last year.<\/p>\n
