ISLAMABAD:<\/strong>\u00a0In a concerning development, the presence of the polio virus has been confirmed in various districts across Pakistan, including the capital city of Islamabad. The Ministry of Health reports that 14 environmental samples from different districts tested positive for the virus.<\/p>\n

According to the ministry\u2019s spokesperson, the samples include 3 from Peshawar, 2 from Hyderabad, and 2 from Karachi East. Additional cases were identified in Karachi Central, Kemari, and West, each contributing to the growing concern over the spread of polio.<\/p>\n

The virus was also detected in one sample each from Sukkur, Quetta, Kohat, and Islamabad, indicating a widespread presence of the polio virus in the country.<\/p>\n

Children Under The Age Of 5 Years Must Be Vaccinated<\/h2>\n
