Two fan-favourites from the Pakistani entertainment industry are reportedly to come together in an undoubtedly captivating pairing. In a series of still images from an upcoming drama serial, The Pink Shirt<\/em>, actors Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali tease an upcoming project well in the works.<\/p>\n

While an official announcement pertaining to the project has not been made as of yet, audiences were ushered into a downright frenzy when Zee5 producer and writer Shailja Kejriwal shared pictures of the pairing to her Instagram account.<\/p>\n

Sharing the first photograph of the two actors deep in thought as they devoured corn in a behind-the-scenes shot, the producer hinted at some big news that would be shared with audiences in due time. The caption read, \u201cSharing some corn today! Will share some super thrilling news in a [couple] of weeks!\u201d Sajal commented on the post with a fire emoji.<\/p>\n

While the photograph itself was enough to get fans excited, Shailja also tagged renowned Pakistani screenwriter and director Bee Gul in the post, hinting at her involvement in the show. The producer capped off her caption with a hashtag that also revealed the title of the upcoming production, The Pink Shirt<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Shailja also shared another click from the shoot to her Instagram Stories where the Alif and Tere Bin stars sat on the grass in intent conversation, with the caption, \u201c[Sajal Aly] and [Wahaj Ali] debating! When to share the news!\u201d<\/p>\n

While both actors reshared the recently posted photographs to their own social media accounts, it seems that the world missed a rather obvious hint of this upcoming pairing that Sajal teased back in May! The actor has shared a close-up of the upcoming on-screen duo mid-take as they locked eyes, subtly revealing the title of the show in a caption that just read, The Pink Shirt<\/em>. Actor Minal Khan gave her seal of approval by commenting, “Two favourites together,” adding three heart-eyed emojis.<\/p>\n
